Helping U.S. troops and veterans is not a new initiative for American Automaker, Chevrolet.  Service members seeking a new Chevrolet have long been granted the GM Military Discount. And, in 2009, Chevrolet joined forces with not only Cell Phones for Soldiers (a program aimed at collecting millions-of-dollars worth of used cell phones at dealerships so that troops can call home and talk with their families), but also the Travis Manion Foundation (a group dedicated to helping U.S. veterans and Fallen Hero survivors).
