New Chevrolet Colorado Truck in USA

The all-new Chevrolet Colorado debuted in Thailand earlier this month. It was so well received, the American automaker decided, yes, they will bring it to the states as well.

The Chevrolet pickup has been on the market since 2004. The fact of the matter is, Chevy was holding off from making it official until they got a little feedback.

Why? Well, it could have something to do with the fact that bringing a reliable mid-size diesel to the U.S. market is somewhat of a bold move, but that would be mere speculation. What we can tell you for sure, is all you have to look forward to - namely universally-appealing advanced tenacity and efficiency.

"The new Chevrolet Colorado is generating a lot of excitement as we begin its launch in Thailand," reports Chris Perry, Vice President, Global Marketing and Strategy, Chevrolet. "We think the design, capability and fuel efficiency of the new Colorado will make it attractive to U.S. customers."1

We couldn't agree more. With the Dakota retired and the Ranger and Ram following suit, there is a definite hole in the market for exactly the determination and efficiency the next-gen Chevy Colorado delivers.

Built on strong Chevy pickup genes, its award-winning heritage, the forthcoming Colorado is an all-new midsize truck platform developed by parent company GM Brazil (the largest subsidiary of the corporation in South America). Chevy explicitly says the tuck will be tailored at a local level to best suit the wants/needs of specific consumers in different geographic markets.

To learn more about the forthcoming Chevy Colorado (i.e. engine availability and pricing), make sure to stay tuned. Coastal Chevrolet, of 5905 Ogeechee Highway in Savannah, GA, is dedicated to keeping you informed.
